Social Ghosts
2025 - ongoing
This project is about people who were forced to leave their homes and adapt to a new environment. Regardless of country or culture, many who were forced to leave need time to adjust to be a part of the society in a new country.
"Social Ghosts" is about empathy and humanism in a time of rising far-right sentiments, where the word “immigrant” is often reduced to a stereotype—someone living off social benefits in search of a better life, rather than a person fleeing real danger.
Through this project, I want to challenge that perception by showing that every individual’s story is different. Exile still exists today, and for some, it is unavoidable. I aim to capture the period of time (up to 3-4 years), when people have not fully integrated in society yet due to some reasons.
First story is about rap musician and poet Naum Bleek, who moved to Paris in 2022.
